Margo Heine Slezak
My name is Margo, I live somewhere in the middle of the Netherlands in a village called Driebergen. I have always enjoyed drawing, illustrating and painting, it still makes me happy. Drawing has always been a thread through my life, it just wasn't always a priority. At the age of four I got acquainted with Waldorf education and found my Waldorf roots and have remained connected to it ever since.
As an illustrator I try to capture, on paper, the unseen world of nature: its power and the rhythm of the seasons and its celebrations. Almost two years ago I made a choice to follow my passion and began my work with EentjevanMargo. As a proud mother of five beautiful children (and almost a grandmother!) every day is an exciting process where learning to trust is a recurring theme. With my work and being, I want to make the world a little more beautiful every day.
Over time I have found my own style, one I would like to see in the world. That is my mission, my passion.I am grateful that I could now illustrate the Around The Day planner and I am very proud of the result.
